Pokemon is gearing up to come to your phone, yet again.
Trailing behind the success of last year’s Pokemon Go, Nintendo has announced that they are releasing another Pokemon mobile game: PokeLand.
The game, which will be available on both iOS and Android, will be a combination between Go and Pokemon Rumble. Players will be able to collect, train and duel the pocket monsters as they move from island to island.
PokeLand is not Nintendo’s only Pokemon-related game since Pokemon Go. After the release of the successful app, they launched both the Sun and Moon editions for handheld consoles, and followed that up with Pokemon Duel.
While alpha testing for PokeLand begins today in Japan, and will run until June 9, there has been no word on an international release yet.
As reported by The Next Web, the alpha test will involve Android users only and is limited to the first 10,000 sign-ups. The volunteers will have six of the islands, 52 stages, 15 levels, and 134 Pokemon to play in and with, though they will not be able to transfer data until the game’s official launch.
